About Samunder Club

Excellence built on service at a glance

Originally an informal social network for Indian maritime professionals in the Houston area, the Samunder Club was formally founded in November 1993 to facilitate mutual support and information exchange. While honoring its legacy, the organization has since broadened its membership to include oil and gas professionals related to the marine industry, reflecting its growth into a wider professional community.

This expansion led to its incorporation as Samunder Club Inc. in 2005. Further enhancing its status, the club was granted 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status in 2023, allowing for tax-deductible donations and enhancing its ability to serve its members and the broader community.

A prestigious hub created for professionals across the oil, gas, and marine sectors. Rooted in Houston's energy capital, our club celebrates both tradition and innovation.
